I'm not sure if anyone is interested in this hack or not, but the following cut-and-paste JavaScript is a great way to quickly add gift registry and wish list functionality to your existing Web store, literally placing a customizable "add to wish list" button next to any buy button or shopping cart.

Gift registries and wish lists are already being used by many of the Web's top retailers to boost their sales and attract new users (take a look at Amazon.com and see the prominence they give their wish list).
